Departmental and high-volume devices, built for shared use and for the authentication and access controls an IT department will ask about. The range we most often specify for a fleet. HP's Managed models — the E-series — are the same class of machine supplied under a contract, and they are what a managed print agreement is usually built on.
Mono and colour laser for a small team or a floor: fast first page and low running cost. HP rates the range at 750 to 4,000 pages a month, which is the right fit for three to ten people sharing a device. Above that we specify Enterprise.
Ink for branch and small offices, and for colour-heavy work where the up-front cost of a colour laser is hard to justify.
DesignJet T-series plotters for engineering, architecture and survey drawings. Large format is a category of its own — the machine, the media and the ink all have to come from somewhere, and we supply them through the same account as the rest of your fleet.
Devices carry HP's standard manufacturer warranty for the model, handled by us. Everything we supply comes through HP's authorized channel, so the warranty is valid here and can be claimed here — which is often not the case with gray-market imports.
Service is at your premises wherever possible — a device only leaves the building if it cannot be repaired where it stands. HP Care Packs extend cover, separately or under a managed print contract.
Original HP toner and ink, and other consumables for the fleet you bought from us, on the same account — ordered as needed, or supplied on a schedule under a managed print contract.
If you are replacing a fleet, the real question is not which printer to buy — it is what printing costs you. A managed print contract starts exactly there: we look at what each department actually prints, replace the devices that are not fit for their workload, and then run the fleet on an agreed cycle.
